Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our websites, buy from us, read our newsletter or write to us, why we use it, who receives it, and what rights you have.
1. What data we use, why, and on what legal basis
Visiting our websites. Our servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser, operating system, the pages you open and the time of your visit. We use it to run our websites securely and without errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the website to work, for example to keep you logged in to your buyer account (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Others measure our advertising (see "Measuring our ads" below). Details are in our cookie notice: https://keepituseful.com/legal#cookies.
Buying from us. Our products are sold by Digistore24, which acts as reseller and is your contract partner for the purchase (see section 2). After your purchase, Digistore24 sends us your order details: order number, product, price, your name, email address, billing address and, if you gave it, your phone number. We use them to give you access to your products, to support you, to handle refunds and to meet our legal obligations. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). To buy, you must give the data the checkout asks for. Without it, we cannot deliver your products.
Your buyer account. In our buyer area we store your login and your progress in the courses. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Reviews. A few days after you buy, we email you to ask for a short review, and send one reminder. If you write a review, it appears on our product page with the name you entered, and we email you a discount code as thanks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in feedback and in showing genuine reviews (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time, for example by replying to the email.
Newsletter. If you sign up, we use your email address to send you our newsletter, and we see whether you open it and which links you click. If you also buy from us, we mark you as a customer so we can send you content that fits. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with the "unsubscribe" link in every email; for the customer mark, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). After you unsubscribe, we may keep your email address on a block list so you get no further newsletters.
Contacting us. If you write to us by email or by message on Facebook or Instagram, we use your message and contact details to answer you. Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Measuring our ads. Our websites use the Meta pixel, and Digistore24 reports purchases to Meta, so we can see which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and sales. Visitors from the EU and the UK are asked for their consent before the Meta pixel runs (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) LSSI); you can withdraw it at any time. For other visitors, and for the purchase reports, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See section 3.
Running our business. We use AI assistants to help answer messages and keep our customer records in order. They receive only the data needed for the task. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running our business efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

For the statistics Meta provides about our Facebook page and Instagram account ("Page Insights"), we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers under the Page Insights Controller Addendum: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum. Meta takes on the main responsibility for this processing. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how our pages are used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
